We collect the competitor name, song title, description, and video URL you provide when submitting an entry. Payment processing is handled securely by Stripe — we do not store your card details. Votes are tracked using an anonymous browser identifier stored in your local storage.
How We Use Your Information
Your submission details are displayed publicly on the platform as part of the competition. Your email (provided via Stripe checkout) is used only for payment confirmation and winner notification. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties.
Payments & Stripe
All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment status but never handle raw card data. Stripe's privacy policy applies to all payment transactions: stripe.com/privacy.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage to remember your anonymous voter ID and display name preference. No tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies are used.
Data Retention
Competition entries and vote records are retained for the lifetime of the platform to maintain the Hall of Fame and historical records. You may request removal of your entry by contacting us.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us via the Contact page. We will respond within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Our backend infrastructure is hosted on secure, managed cloud services.
